Here are the Mean Projections for Week 3. Things look a little less insane after 2 weeks, compared to just one. Here are a few quick observations:
1) Tony Romo has not lit up fantasy scoreboards through the first 2 weeks, but he is still playing well. The Houston secondary has been the most generous to opposing QBs, which is why Romo comes out as the #1 projected QB. Even though Dallas may try to establish the run early, they will be forced to throw to keep up with Matt Schaub. Plus, Romo looks like he belongs on Jersey Shore in this photo.
2) Jay Cutler owners may worry about this matchup against a strong Green Bay defense. And yet, Cutler still ranks in the top 10 despite the tough matchup because has just been performing at such a high level. The Martz system really seems to be clicking with Cutler. A small part of me is worried that Cutler will totally implode because he has such a horrible record in these primetime games, but I'm still starting Cutler.
3) Eli Manning appears in the bottom 10. He hasn't been playing horribly, but he hasn't been playing well enough to overcome tough matchups. He is a matchup-play only, and if you have any options, bench Eli this week.
4) Turning now to the top 5 RBs, I think this "Adrian Peterson" character could have a good week. Jahvid Best appears in the top 5 despite the difficult matchup against Minnesota because he has been playing at such a high level. In fact, Best is the #1 fantasy RB. Darren McFadden is a must start; don't worry about Michael Bush's return. Knowshon Moreno comes in at #5, but we just learned that Moreno is out with a hammy injury. I think Laurence Maroney is a must-add, and could be a serviceable flex option against Indianapolis.
5) This will be an interesting week for Brandon Jackson. He has an average matchup against Chicago and his performances have been mediocre. He needs to impress on Monday Night Football to prove to the coaching staff that he deserves to be the featured back on that offense. Otherwise, I have a vision of John Kuhn and Dimitri Nance topping next week's "Working The Waiver" column.

mmm get it, romo! get it!
Yo, I have romo and cutler in one league. They're both good, but who's better this week??
why doesn't the machine have WR predictions?
You gotta go with Romo. They're bth top 10 options, but Romo should explode and cutler has a difficult matchup
Jerome Harrison is inactive today. Upgrade Peyton Hillis
