Fan League Update

This week in the FFMVP Fan League, I handedly beat my partner in crime, Cory, thanks to his many byes. The win vaulted me to 2nd place after starting 0-2, and I currently have the most points in the league.

Don't look now, but Team Patrick is also on the up and up with 3 straight wins thanks to the Aaron Rodgers-Greg Jennings connection, in addition to great value picks in A.J. Green and Ryan Mathews. There's got to be a better TE out there for him than Zach Miller, but you can't argue with the team's 3rd highest overall point total.

The highest score in Week 5 was posted by Trevor K, who got 3 TDS from Adrian Peterson in the first quarter of action. And Trevor was either incredibly brilliant or just really lucky by starting Steve Breaston and his 2 TDs.

In a toilet bowl matchup, our very own Kevin beat out Jimi of San Jose 78-58. You might be thinking someone started players on byes, but the starting rosters look respectable enough; it was just a perfect storm of crappiness. Guys like Kevin Kolb, Ryan Grant, Jordy Nelson, and Stevan Ridley probably let down more owners than just Kevin and Jimi.

And the current league leader is Sammy of Pekin, Illinois, with Matt Forte's consistent excellence keeping him winning. This week, Sammy gets Miles Austin back so his team truly is a force to be reckoned with.

Wish me luck against Jimi in Week 6!

Why would I ever root for you to do well after you ganged up on me last week, you should have been a gentleman and pulled your starters once you went up so big!
