my first season doing fantasy football was 6 years ago and I had no idea what I was doing. I auto-drafted and never thought to check or change my roster until my friend told me I was in the championship (thanks to LT, Marion Barber III, and Chester Taylor - guys I had never heard of). Then I decided to set my roster for the championship game...and then I lost. I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to fantasy football.
Chris Johnson has reached an agreement with the Titans that gave him what he was asking for. Chris Johnson will now have just 8 days to practice with the team before the season begins, but he is a Pro Bowl player and has the potential to be the best back in the league so draft him without giving it a second thought.
where's the latest podcast? my drive to work was boring this morning
Almost done! Podcast will be available within the hour.
I'm fairly nervous about Chris Johnson this season. I don't think he can deliver after missing all this time.
@Austin - I agree, the Titans have a new quarterback and a new offensive coordinator that CJ will have to meet and adjust to. He will also have a heck of a time trying to learn the new offense, but let's keep in mind who we're talking about. Johnson's "disappointing" season last year was still good enough for the fifth most fantasy points of all rbs (and rbs 2-5 were only separated by 6 points). I would expect a bit of a slow start, but barring injury CJ should be off the board in the first 5 picks based off our calculations/expectations. Thanks for reading!
