Hallelujah!

Hallelujah!
They were able to put aside their differences and reach a sensible compromise! And no, of course I’m not talking about Obama and John Boehner.

There will be a football season! More importantly, there will be a fantasy football season. Things got so bad for a while that I was forced to join a fantasy basketball league and a fantasy baseball league (don’t worry folks – I won the basketball league and am trying to make my late season push in baseball). But now we’re squeezing months of NFL transactions into one week. It’s an exciting week to be sure, but fantasy advice this week is relatively useless until we know how things shake out. Sure, DeAngelo Williams would be a star in Denver, but we don’t yet know where he will be. I’m happy to write about Ahmad Bradshaw’s potential draft day value for all 32 teams on which he could land, but you don’t want to read that. And I don’t want to tell you where to draft Larry Fitzgerald until we know who is throwing him the ball. So sit tight, check Adam Schefter’s tweets or Rotoworld.com for all the breaking news as it comes out, and check back here in a little while for all the thoughtful analysis you will need to win your league as soon as this free agency situation shakes out.

The FFMVP Staff is going to up its game this year in bringing you all the best rankings, recaps, free agent pickups, and trade targets. More importantly, we will be bringing you a podcast starting in August that will entertain and educate you during your commute (or whenever you like to listen to podcasts.)

In case you’re wondering, here’s how some of my teams shook out last season:

In full disclosure, those were more casual leagues. I wish I had finished in 1st or 2nd in all my professional money leagues. But I was able to rake in a few hundo through all 9 of my leagues last year - enough for a few hundo tacos! I hope our readers had similar success and will come back for more top notch fantasy research and analysis this season. So stay tuned and get ready to rock!
