1) Mike Williams (TB WR)
We touted Williams throughout the pre-season, but he was dropped after an uninspiring (but not bad) first few games and then a team bye. If he's available, grab him. He had 7 catches for 99 yards and a TD. He leads the Bucs in targets, catches, yards, and TDs. This talented rookie will only get better as his chemistry with Josh Freeman continues to evolve.
2) Danny Amendola (STL WR)
Mark Clayton is done for the year, and Danny Amendola immediately became the new go-to guy with 12 catches for 95 yards. Amendola currently leads all Rams in targets and catches. He had a monstrous 19 targets on Sunday. To give you an idea of just how monstrous that is, the next highest Ram had 6 targets. Sam Bradford has looked very impressive (though not a great fantasy day this weekend), so Amendola could immediately become a solid flex option.
3) Kenny Britt (TEN WR)
He was in our Waiver column last week, but he's still available in a bunch of leagues. Britt had 4 catches for 86 yards and a TD. Justin Gage's injury opened the door for Britt to emerge, and he led the team in targets, catches, and yards on Sunday. He was a trendy sleeper pick in the off-season because of his talent. If you drafted him and managed to be patient enough to hold onto him, congrats. It looks like the investment will pay off.
4) Marcedes Lewis (JAC TE)
Lewis is still available in half of all Yahoo leagues. He is currently fifth overall of TEs in fantasy points. He has an incredible 5 TDs. We thought the 2 TDs in week one may have been a fluke, but David Garrard is loving Lewis all over the field, and especially in the redzone. It's hard to imagine the TDs will continue (he's on track for 16), and Lewis is outside the top 15 in yards and catches. But he needs to at least be owned, especially if you just lost Jermichael Finley.
5) Ryan Fitzpatrick (BUF QB)
Guess who's averaging more fantasy points per game than Tom Brady and Drew Brees? You guessed it - Harvard alum, Ryan Fitzpatrick! In his three games, he's posted 19, 21, and 22 fantasy points. He's making effective use of Steve Johnson and Lee Evans, and adding rushing yards to boot. Fitzpatrick is averaging the 2nd most rushing yards of all QBs, second only to Michael Vick. Warning: He has a bye this week, and then a few tough matchups. But still, he's worth a stash.
6) Roy Williams (DAL WR)
Williams posted a second straight big week this Sunday. He has about the same amount of targets and receptions as Dez Bryant, but a ton more yards and 3 more TDs. Bryant may still be hampered by his injury. I'm not letting go of Dez Bryant, but there is always the potential that the fantasy community has overhyped the young guy and knocked the older guy so intensely that we refuse to believe what's right in front of us (Thomas Jones, Hines Ward, and Donald Driver were on everybody's "Bust List" in 2009. LaDainian Tomlinson was on Do Not Draft lists in 2010. And Fred Jackson fell in drafts because of the C.J. Spiller hype.) Williams is at least worth owning.
7) Lee Evans and Steve Johnson (BUF WR)
Evans may have been dropped in your league, but he had 5 catches for 87 yards and a TD on Sunday. If he has solid chemistry with Ryan Fitzpatrick, he could experience a little resurgence this year. He currently leads the Bills in targets. Steve Johnson, on the other hand, has fewer targets but more receptions, because he has caught and incredible 17 out of 18 targets! I'm not super-excited about either option yet, but in a deep league, they're worth owning. We'll monitor how the situation shakes out in the coming weeks, as the new passing game gels with Fitzpatrick at the helm.
8) Mike Hart (IND RB)
Addai left with a shoulder injury and Hart had 11 carries for 50 yards, and a TD. There's no conclusive report on Addai yet, but he should be okay. This is only for the cautious owner.
9) Deji Karim (JAC RB)
The rookie ran for 70 yards on 15 carries. MJD left for a bit and was screaming in pain, but returned, so don't rush to pickup Karim unless we hear that MJD will miss some time. Rashad Jennings is the nominal backup, but was inactive with his own injury. The Jags play on Monday so if MJD is a gametime decision, we may not know in time whether Karim will get the start. Either way, it seems like MJD is constantly dealing with nicks and bruises this year, so Karim may see an expanded role to let MJD avoid too much beating.

Lewis?? He stinks, and so do the Jags. You know who else is available in 50% of yahoo leagues? Heath Miller and Aaron Hernandez. I just lost Finley and (God willing) should get one of those this week.
I dunno about Fitzpatrick. The head-scratching coaches in Buffalo could pull him to get a look at Brohm at any time...
If you're going by Yahoo numbers: No love for Brandon Tate 53% or Ryan Torain 62%?
Ryan Torain has been a waiver wire pickup in previous weeks. He's the primary back likely for the rest of the season, he is no longer available in any reasonable league.
Good point, Deadfrog, I would rather have Miller or Hernandez than Lewis, but I've mentioned them before. If Hernandez is available in your league, grab him now.
I also talked about Torain and Tate last week. Torain is a must add (even though he didn't light the world on fire on Sunday) above any of the guys in the column. Brandon Tate is a savvy speculative add, but I'd put him at 4 or 5 on the list. I'd much prefer Williams, Britt, and Amendola.
cute sizite!
Britt and Amendola are available in my Yahoo league but they scare me a little... It's a shallow league and I have White, DJax, Colston, Wallace, BTate and Walter...
Amendola is available in my CBS league where I lost Clayton to IR, but I might pick up Orton instead... I know supply/demand says pick up a decent receiver, but neck beard has been on fire.
LOL, if you resort to mentioning players that weren't mentioned before you'll eventually run out of players! I totally understand though. Awesome columns!
Deep sleeper: James Starks, RB, GB coming off PUP list.
What do you thing of Armstrong, WR, Washington?
Kenny Britt or Steve Smith? Smith put up good numbers last week, but I think its been the only time this season.
Marshawn Lynch or Marcedes Lewis? I dropped Marcedes Lewis to pick up Percy Harvin, but I kind of want Lewis back and the only player I would drop is Lynch. Thought? I have Brent Celek as my TE and Jamaal Charles, Michael Turner, and Knowshon Moreno as RBs.
Finally Giants or Jets D? I listened to your recommendation last week and was thrilled after the Giants game. I was like no way Jets will give me more than 11 points. Then they scored 17.
Haha Hulie, I told you to start the jets defense, obvi I didn't predict the pick6 but I knew favre had plenty of picks in his tank.
I still like smith more than britt as a reliable 6-10 point option, but britt has more explosion potential
