I've been sitting on Big Ben for 5 games - he better be worth the wait!!

I'm also starting Ben in a few leagues. I have no doubt that he is fully ready to go, and has a talented group of receivers. So the only way I can see Ben NOT putting up big fantasy numbers is if the Steelers get up huge in the beginning and lean on their run game.

Mike Wallace better be going off now!

Damn desean Jackson

I hate how the chiefs take so damn long with the ball, the texans are gonna get like fifteen plays all game

Mikey Wa-Wa is backkkkkkk!

DeSean took a huge hit and is likely down for the day. He already has 2 TDs so you can't be that disappointed in him.

Kevin Smith (DET RB)
Keep an eye on Detroit. There's no news of a Jahvid Best injury, but Smith has 4 carries for 17 yards. Meanwhile, Best has 7 carries for just 8 yards. Let's see if Smith gets worked in at all in the second half.

What do the eagles do at qb now that kolb is having such a great game?

The Champ said...

Ehhh I meant to send that before that interception

Chris Ivory (NO RB)
After Ladell Betts screwed up his opportunity last week with 2 big turnovers, the Saints are going to Chris Ivory. Ivory has 10 carries for 101 yards so far, and a 17 yard catch. With Pierre Thomas out for a few more weeks, you should grab Ivory if he's available in your league.

Good call on bowe! This is my first week starting him and he's the only guy on my roster producing today!

Yeah, and on hillis, he's been solid even against some of the stoutest defenses

Brett said...

Mike Williams (SEA WR)
Williams has 9 catches for 117 yards. With the trade of Deon Branch, everyone speculated who would pick up the slack in Seattle. So far it's all about Mike Williams. Deon Butler is 2nd with just 3 catches for 32 yards.

I can't wait for this vikes boys game! Big performances out of AP, Moss, romo, and Felix!!

What is going on with Rodgers!?! He was so great last season at avoiding turnovers and converting on third down, now he's the worst drive sustainer in the NFC!!!

*Deion Branch

In five leagues the only player I have in this falcons eagles game I'm stuck watching is David Akers...who just missed his third fg attempt in three tries...great morning

If this Houston game and green bay game go to overtime my dreams will become a reality!!

Brett said...

Danny Woodhead (NE RB/WR)
People wondered who would step up for Randy Moss. Brandon Tate had zero catches. Meanwhile, Woodhead carried the ball 11 times for 63 yards and added 5 catches for 52 yards. He makes for solid add.

finally shaub has a stud game! along with marshall (guess who i am...)

Brett said...

Deion Branch (NE WR)
Branch has 9 catches for 98 yards and a TD. Brandon Tate has been a non-factor. The old Brady-Branch chemistry looks great.

jason campbell seems to be staying away from zach miller??

Brett said...

Michael Jenkins (ATL WR)
Jenkins benefited from all the defensive attention on Roddy White, and posted 5 catches for 99 yards. It's his 1st game back from an injury so it's hard to judge whether this can or will continue, but he's worth consideration.

Brett said...

Ben Watson (CLE TE)

Watson posted 6 catches for 88 yards and a TD today. He's already the leading receiver on the Browns, and it looks like it will remain that way as the poor QB play leads to a lot of short dumpoffs.

Cory said...

@anonymous, let me guess you're also happy to see branch doing well?

Would you recommend dropping Tate then? Or will this just be an inconsistent passing game?

Brett said...

Patrick Crayton (DAL WR)
With all the defensive attention bottling up Malcolm Floyd with just 15 yards, it was instead Crayton who blew up with 6 catches for 117 yards. He's also worth consideration as there's no shortage of production to go around with Phil Rivers at the helm.

you guessed it, "Cory". The niners look horrible.

Brett said...

I would drop Tate for Branch, yes.

Anonymous said...

The niners and raiders are pathetic

For some reason my yahoo league is crediting or ton with a 17 yard td pass to himself? At what point do those discrepancies get corrected?

Brett said...

Yeah, I noticed that too - they've now taken that TD away.

Anonymous said...

Brett, I told you Torain vs. Foster would be a close call!

Come on 30 points for Chris johnson
